Job Description

A leading investment company is seeking a meticulous and driven Operations Analyst Assistant to join their dynamic team. This employment equity position is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of local and offshore investments, contributing to the smooth operation of model portfolios and building strong client relationships. You will be the backbone of our client's model portfolio administration, ensuring seamless implementation and providing exceptional client service. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with clients and service providers, while delivering accurate and timely reporting. This is a full-day permanent position. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Model Portfolio Administration:
    • Administer and maintain local and offshore model portfolios.
    • Provide expert support to clients on model portfolio queries.
    • Implement model portfolio changes and management requests.
    • Deliver dedicated support to institutional and bespoke clients.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate strong working relationships with model portfolio teams at service providers.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with operations teams at client practices.
    • Ensure excellent client relations.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate weekly AUM reports.
    • Prepare quarterly client reports.
    • Provide bespoke client reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
    • Conduct monthly model factsheet checks.
    • Perform regular client fee calculations and support Finance.


Requirements

  • Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Diploma in Business & Information Administration or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years' working experience. Enquiring mind and numerate.
  • High attention to detail and process-driven.
  • Proactive and efficient.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Client-centric attitude.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
