Job Description

A company in the beverage industry is hiring a Data Analyst to join their team. You'll play a crucial role in helping to understand customers, optimise operations, and achieve their business goals. This is a full-time, in-office, permanent position.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources, including sales data and social media.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data collection and analysis.
  • Create insightful reports with your understanding of financial metrics and visualisations to communicate data findings to stakeholders.
  • Pay attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and consistency in data extraction and reporting.
  • Identify trends and patterns in data to inform business decisions across marketing, sales, operations, and product development.
  • Maintain data quality and ensure data integrity throughout the organisation.
  • Stay up-to-date on data analysis trends and technologies.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Highly desirable skills:
  • Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Understanding of the food and beverage industry.
