Job Description

An adventure tour company offering unique tours across Asia, Africa, and South America is seeking a friendly, dynamic and detail-oriented full-time, hybrid, permanent Marketing Assistant to support their marketing team in executing campaigns, creating content, and managing day-to-day marketing activities. This role is perfect for someone who loves adventure, travel and tourism, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in compiling marketing performance reports.
  • Data entry.
  • Assisting with conducting market research to better understand the marketing needs of the organisation and its target audience.
  • Assisting with the setup, facilitation and completion of marketing events.
  • Gathering data on campaign success.
  • Assist in the creation, scheduling, and management of social media content across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc).
  • Support email marketing campaigns, including writing and scheduling newsletters via MailChimp.
  • Help coordinate video and content creation, working with the marketing team and external contributors.
  • Support in tracking and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, social media, and website traffic, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Support the development of printed and digital marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and promotional content.
  • Manage and organise marketing assets, including photos, videos, and testimonials.


Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field (internships included).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms and content scheduling tools.
  • Experience with ClickUp.
  • Basic knowledge of e-mail marketing and CRM platforms (e.g., MailChimp).
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and paid advertising is a bonus.
  • Passion for adventure travel is highly desirable.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
